Our Accounting Specialist is highly knowledgeable about AMS and strives to provide effective resolutions for all auction accounting issues.
Team members should be effective written and oral communicators with good communication skills and be able to assist auctions with all their AMS processing needs.
Primary Duties Include:
Diligently monitoring a Salesforce queue to address accounting needs quickly.
Performance evaluation based on tickets completed and complexity of tickets.
Supporting inbound requests from auction teams as they have AMS issues or questions.
Processing tickets timely and accurately.
Ensuring tasks are completed to the auction's satisfaction before closing ticket.
Ensuring auctions receive prompt, efficient and courteous attention.
Demonstrate friendliness and proper phone/e-mail etiquette with auction staff.
Resolve any auction issues in a friendly and courteous manner.
Following up or initiating outbound calls related to accounting issues when needed to ensure auction issues are resolved correctly and timely.
Ensuring the proper approvals are received for GPO requests, SOS requests and fee setups or changes.
Maintaining a good flow of communication with the auction sites regarding resolutions to their issues.
Knowing when to escalate auction issues which require next level review or technical expertise.
Proactively providing feedback to Supervisors regarding auction issues or when system functionality is impacting ability to resolve the issue.
Practicing and promoting teamwork at all times.
Bringing a positive and contagious attitude to work each day.
Ensuring proper follow-through on directives.
Knowing and following company policies, standard operating procedures, and applicable state and federal laws at all times.
What you should know/have:
Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting or related field 2-3 years accounting industry experience AMS Experience Strong investigative and problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to exercise prudent discretion regarding confidential and sensitive financial information.
